BD (Becton, Dickinson and Co.) is seeking a Smart Factory Project Manager in Barcelona to plan, execute, and close complex projects. You will lead cross-functional teams across design, engineering, manufacturing and operations to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and high-quality outcomes.

The role requires a solid background in project management, familiarity with MS Project/Jira/Asana, and a track record of delivering healthcare/medical device projects.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years in project management, with end-to-end lifecycle ownership.
• Proven track record delivering complex projects on scope, time and budget.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
• PMP certification is highly desirable.

Job Description

The Smart Factory Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required scope and quality. This role involves leading cross-functional teams and managing all aspects of the project lifecycle.

Responsabilities

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop full-scale project plans, including detailed tasks, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
• Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis, managing expectations and fostering strong working relationships.
• Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals and manage resource acquisition.
• Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
• Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
• Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
• Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
• Track project milestones and deliverables.
• Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
• Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
• Conduct project post-mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
• Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science) or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution.
• Proven experience in managing complex projects from conception to completion.
• Strong familiarity with project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana).
• Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities.
• PMP certification is highly desirable.
• Experience in the medical device or healthcare industry is a plus.

Salary range for this roles: EUR 60,000 - EUR 75,000
