Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Getafe (Madrid) seeks a Future Projects Platform System Engineer to perform system-level technical studies for derivative concepts and campaigns. You will collaborate with Chief Engineering Offices, R&D, and customers across multiple programmes, including Medium & Light, A400M, Combat, Tankers and UAVs.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of engineering experience, preferably in Systems Engineering.
• Degree in Aeronautical Engineering or related field.
• Good knowledge of Platform Systems and English language.

Responsibilities

• Ensure interface & integration of Engineering activities for Airbus product policies.
• Lead or support analysis of competitors’ products at Aircraft/Vehicle level for Strategy, Marketing, Sales, Engineering and Technology.
• Define top level technical objectives and requirements up to MG3 for new or incremental programmes.
• Perform trade-off analyses to select best overall vehicle and system architecture.
