Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Getafe is seeking an engineer to join the TADYX5 group within Environmental and Crew Systems. You will support the development lifecycle from requirements analysis through integration and qualification, applying system engineering to air systems for military platforms.

The role requires 3-5 years in engineering, an aeronautical/industrial engineering degree, and experience with defence programs; Spanish and English negotiation level.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of engineering experience
• Aeronautical/Industrial engineering degree
• Good knowledge of Systems development process
• Knowledge of Fluid Dynamics
• Previous experience in Defence Programs (e.g. EF2000)
• Experience in transnational environments and consortia
• Flexibility to adapt to different tasks and environments
• Spanish and English at negotiation level

Responsibilities

• Accomplish the technical activities of the development life cycle as required for the project.
• Provide input to checkpoints and reviews with maturity expectations.
• Define interfaces between functions and systems and ensure consistent implementation.
• Verify that system requirements are correctly implemented.
• Ensure design conformance to state-of-the-art and safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with airworthiness regulations.
• Support production, flight testing and delivery.
