Job summary

Turner & Townsend is recruiting a Senior Contracts Manager for energy sector projects in Madrid. You will manage the full contract lifecycle, including change control, claims, and risk assessment, coordinating with procurement and legal teams across international stakeholders.

You will lead tender strategy, advise on FEED and EPCI scopes, ensure compliance, and report forecasting data to senior leadership in a multinational environment. Fluency in Spanish and English is required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of contract management experience across large capital energy projects.
• University degree in a relevant subject (engineering, project management, supply chain, etc.).
• Experience across the full lifecycle of contracts including change and claims management.
• Strong knowledge of contracts related to Surveys Operations and financial reporting for budgets.
• Fluency in both Spanish and English and ability to work with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee contract management across the full lifecycle of energy projects, including change and claims management.
• Define tender and contract strategies with key business functions and monitor supply chain risks.
• Support development of PQQs, tender docs, evaluation criteria and scopes of work; evaluate proposals for FEED and EPCI packages.
• Manage commercial and contractual matters with procurement and legal teams; lead contract variations and dispute resolution.
• Maintain thorough records, monitor deliverables, variations and claims; ensure contract compliance.
• Conduct data analysis and reporting for forecasting, planning and record-keeping; communicate status to senior leadership.
