Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space in Getafe (Madrid) seeks a Business Analyst to act as the strategic architect of the digital evolution for our derivatives programs. You will bridge the gap between operational stakeholders and software teams, shaping high-value functional requirements for next-generation tools in PATMAR, MRTT+, and A321 AEW&C.

You will translate evolving business needs into precise specifications, ensuring alignment with Integrated Logistics Support and In-Service Support workflows, and

Qualifications

• Conducts in-depth discovery meetings to understand customer objectives and automation opportunities.
• Identifies improvements in business processes and IT solutions aligned to IT strategy.
• Supports IT Product Manager with planning based on customer requirements.
• Produces documentation of current challenges, future requirements and benefits.
• Defines and develops specification documents for stakeholders and product team.
• Monitors external business trends to challenge requirements.
• Acts as liaison between Product Management and technical resources during development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver digital systems and IT activities for Asset Readiness Support Center.
• Ensure alignment with operational workflows of ILS and ISS.
• Translate business needs into high-value functional requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams.
• Support program design for next-generation tools (PATMAR, MRTT+, A321 AEW&C).
• Balance cost, schedule and performance objectives.
• Maintain traceability between business goals and delivered solutions.
