Job summary

Scopely is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join Playgami in Barcelona on a hybrid basis. You will lead from design through implementation, producing maintainable code, tests, and reliable releases for scalable games.

You’ll set technical direction for complex features, raise standards across teams, and collaborate with product, data, design and other disciplines to deliver meaningful business outcomes. You will mentor engineers and help colleagues succeed beyond your team.

Qualifications

• Strong computer science fundamentals incl. data structures and algorithms.
• Experience designing, shipping, and operating complex production systems.
• Ability to lead across teams and disciplines and communicate decisions clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead work from design through implementation and operation, producing maintainable code, tests, and reliable releases.
