Google is seeking a Share Staff Software Engineer in Málaga to lead the technical strategy, architecture, and delivery of cloud security initiatives at scale. You will shape the GTI Threat Scoring platform and guide a team of engineers across multiple projects, ensuring robust design and reliable systems.

You will mentor mid-level and senior engineers, collaborate with security analysts and domain experts, and architect cloud-native microservices for real-time threat intelligence streaming.

Formación

• 5 years of testing and launching software products.
• 3 years of design and architecture experience.

Responsabilidades

• Define and drive the technical strategy, roadmap, and architecture for the GTI Threat Scoring platform and verdict engine within Google Threat Intelligence.
• Mentor and grow mid-level and executive software engineers in Málaga, promoting high standards for code quality and system reliability.
• Act as a key technical anchor across Google Cloud Security, partnering with security engineers and domain experts.
• Architect cloud-native microservices supporting low-latency graph propagation and real-time threat intelligence streaming.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  
• 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
  
• 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.
• Experience with statistical classification models, false-positive mitigation, and score calibration.
• Experience leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) both in production

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the technical strategy, roadmap, and architecture for the GTI Threat Scoring platform and verdict engine within Google Threat Intelligence.
  
• Mentor and grow mid-level and executive software engineers in Málaga, creating clarity, protecting team focus, and advocating high standards for code quality, design documentation, and system reliability.
  
• Act as a key technical anchor across Google Cloud Security, partnering closely with security engineers, threat analysts and domain experts to systematically encode frontline.
  
• Architect the cloud-native microservices supporting low-latency graph propagation and real-time threat intelligence streaming.
