Google Málaga, Spain is seeking a Mid-level Security Engineer for Product, Cloud CISO. You will collaborate with Google’s Security team to secure Google Cloud products and partner teams across the globe, focusing on risk identification, security assessments, and remediation.

The role requires mentoring junior engineers, deep security engineering expertise, and strong communication skills to influence changes across multiple teams.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in building relationships at various levels, along with advanced written and verbal communications skills and the ability to influence others.
• Experience in consulting or project management with the ability to meet or exceed goals.
• Understanding of both offensive and defensive security methods.

About the job

Our Security team works to create and maintain the safest operating environment for Google's users and developers. Security Engineers work with network equipment and actively monitor our systems for attacks and intrusions. In this role, you will also work with software engineers to proactively identify and fix security flaws and vulnerabilities.

As an information security engineer you will help to ensure that our software and systems are designed and implemented to the highest security standards. You will perform technical security assessments, code reviews and vulnerability testing to highlight risk, helping Google teams and partners to improve security, and work on a wide variety of software designs and technology stacks. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Spain: €70000 - €71500 (EUR) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
