Job summary

Preply is seeking a Staff Platform Product Manager to own the product strategy for platform capabilities that reduce developer friction, improve reliability, and accelerate delivery. You’ll set the vision for platform as a product and define paved paths used by engineering teams.

As part of the Platform Tribe, you’ll translate constraints into clear requirements, measure success with OKRs, and drive adoption of platform standards across squads to scale AI-enabled learning.

• Partner with engineering to evaluate technical trade-offs and solutions, focusing on scalable platform capabilities rather than custom solutions for individual teams

The Platform Tribe at Preply brings together teams responsible for the internal foundations that enable engineers to build, deploy, and operate Preply reliably and at scale. Today, we have around 200 engineers at Preply, with plans to grow the team by another 100 engineers this year, making the Platform Tribe a critical enabler of our next phase of growth.

As Staff Platform Product Manager, You'll own the product strategy for platform capabilities that reduce developer friction, harden reliability, and compress delivery speed. As Platform becomes the foundation for Preply's agentic SDLC transformation, you'll define what "platform as a product" means at agent-scale — not just for engineers, but for the fleet of AI agents now writing and shipping our code.

The role focuses on defining and evolving paved paths used by engineering teams, translating engineering constraints into clear product decisions, and measuring and reducing developer friction. You will also drive the adoption of platform capabilities and navigate hard trade-offs between flexibility and standardization.
