SustainRecruit Talent in Barcelona is partnering with a leading European tech organisation to hire a Staff AI Platform Engineer. You will help shape AI-powered developer platforms, tooling and cloud-native capabilities relied upon by hundreds of engineers daily.

You'll tackle hard engineering problems, design internal developer platforms, and drive AI-native engineering, with emphasis on Python, Go, AWS and Kubernetes.

• Extensive experience building Developer Platforms / IDPs.
• Expert Python engineering, with commercial Go experience.
• AWS, Kubernetes and cloud-native architecture expertise.
• Experience building APIs, SDKs, CLI tooling or platform services.
• Passion for AI-native engineering and exceptional developer experiences.

We are now looking for an exceptional Staff AI Platform Engineer to help shape what comes next.

This is an opportunity to build the AI-powered platforms, developer tooling and cloud-native capabilities that hundreds of engineers rely on every day. You'll tackle genuinely difficult engineering problems, build elegant systems, and influence technical direction through the quality of your code.

If you're someone who gets excited by designing Internal Developer Platforms, creating AI agents, building Kubernetes operators, or crafting tooling that removes friction for entire engineering organisations, you'll be working on exactly the right problems with people who care deeply about engineering excellence.

This isn't an organisation trying to "adopt AI." It is already doing it at scale. Your challenge will be shaping what comes next.

What you'll bring
