Zusammenfassung

Qualifyze is seeking a Staff Data Engineer to join our Product & Tech team. You will shape the evolution of our data platform, influence cross-functional engineering decisions, and design scalable data solutions for both operational and analytical workloads.

You will work with Python and SQL, dbt, Dagster, Docker, and Kubernetes, mentor data engineers, and partner with product and business stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely data for product decisions.

Qualifikationen

• Proficiency in Python for data engineering with ETL/ELT pipelines and testing.
• Advanced PostgreSQL SQL skills and understanding of OLTP/OLAP workloads.
• Strong experience with dbt for data modeling, testing, and documenting datasets.
• Hands-on with Dagster or similar orchestration tools for data workflows.
• Solid knowledge of containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong data modeling skills including dimensional modeling and operational vs analytical schemas.

• Define and drive the technical vision for our data platform and architecture.
• Design scalable, reliable, and maintainable data solutions that support business growth.
• Establish and cultivate best practices around data architecture, modeling, quality and engineering standards.
• Lead complex technical initiatives and make architectural decisions across multiple teams.
• Partner with Product, Engineering and business stakeholders to translate needs into scalable data solutions.
• Mentor and support Data Engineers, fostering technical growth and knowledge sharing.
• Drive continuous improvements increasing the scalability, reliability, and efficiency of the data platform.
