Dow Jones is seeking a Staff Data Engineer to lead the design and delivery of scalable data platforms that power analytics and product experiences. You will balance hands-on development with technical leadership, shaping engineering direction and partnering with engineering, product, analytics, and business stakeholders.

You will drive large-scale data initiatives, improve data quality, and mentor cross-functional teams while aligning with executives to deliver measurable business impact.

Formación

• 7+ years of professional experience in software or data engineering, with staff-level exposure.
• Hands-on experience with data lakes (Snowflake) and modern data orchestration (dbt, Airflow).
• Deep experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Kinesis, ECS, SNS, SQS, Lambda, etc.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design and delivery of scalable data platforms and pipelines powering analytics and product experiences.
• Balance hands-on development with technical leadership and architectural direction.
• Mentor teams, drive cross-team initiatives, and align with stakeholders to solve complex problems.
