Technical in Madrid, Spain, is seeking a Flight Dynamics Software / Space Situational Awareness Engineer for a hybrid, full-time role in a leading NewSpace company focused on space sustainability and satellite operations.

The role involves developing and optimizing orbit propagation and orbit determination algorithms, fusing data from multiple sources, and turning research concepts into reliable, scalable software while collaborating with engineers and data specialists across disciplines.

Formación

• Master’s degree or higher in aerospace or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in space systems, flight dynamics, astrodynamics, orbital mechanics.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java or Fortran (90+).
• Valid right to work within Europe.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and optimize orbit propagation and orbit determination algorithms.
• Integrate data from multiple sources to improve SSA capabilities.
• Create accurate models of the orbital environment and space object behaviour.
• Validate and verify algorithm performance.
• Transition research concepts into reliable, scalable software.
• Collaborate with software engineers, aerospace engineers, and data specialists.
• Contribute to orbital safety and space traffic management technologies.
