Indra Space in Madrid is seeking a modelling and simulation engineer to advance spacecraft dynamics and data analysis. You will work on SSA optical data, apply mathematical methods, and build ML models for time series and physical systems within a hybrid Madrid setup.

The role requires solide background in orbital mechanics, statistics, and programming (Python/Java), with collaboration across multidisciplinary teams on high-impact space programs.

Formación

• Hands-on experience in orbital mechanics and spacecraft dynamics.
• Experience processing SSA optical sensor data.
• Strong background in applied mathematics and statistics.
• Hands-on ML experience for physical systems or time series.
• Proficient object-oriented programming (Python/Java).

Responsabilidades

• Develop modelling and simulation solutions for spacecraft dynamics and orbital mechanics.
• Process and analyze SSA optical sensor data.
• Apply mathematical and statistical methods to space-related problems.
• Design and implement machine learning models for physical systems and time series data.
• Work with satellite attitude and orbital dynamics models.
• Perform optical light curve analysis and apply optical physics and photometry concepts.
• Develop object-oriented software solutions using Python and Java.
• Use machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and scikit-learn.
• Conduct scientific computing and advanced data analysis.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality technical solutions.
