Randstad Digital España is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Barcelona to lead high-impact, end-to-end projects in the life sciences software domain. The role focuses on driving Agile practices, coordinating cross-functional teams, and delivering scalable, enterprise solutions for pharmaceutical clients.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in software/pharma projects, proven experience with eBR systems, and strong English (C1/C2) plus Spanish proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Managing expectations with customers to meet company goals.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties for flawless project execution.
• Ensure all projects are delivered on time.
• Develop project scopes and objectives.
• Manage Scrum boards and Jira Roadmaps for progress.
• Lead Sprint ceremonies (Planning, Standup, Review, Retrospective).
• Maintain client relationships and manage project risks.
• Collaborate with data scientists, quality engineers, usability experts, and clients to improve the platform.

Where AI meets Life Sciences: Randstad Digital is looking for a senior project manager to join a pioneer in smart manufacturing software. Our client leverages predictive analytics and Artificial Intelligence to revolutionize how global pharmaceutical manufacturers and CDMOs run their operations under strict GMP standards.

They are seeking a high-performing project leader with a winner's tech mindset—someone proactive, strategic, and ready to move every piece on the board to clear roadblocks and achieve outstanding results.

Qualifications: Must-have

• 10+ years of hands-on experience leading end-to-end projects using Agile/Scrum frameworks to iterate rapidly and deliver high-value client solutions.
• A minimum of a decade of industry background within software development companies focused on the pharmaceutical sector.
• Proven track record (10+ years) managing and implementing eBR systems and complex enterprise software for the life sciences domain.
• Ability to work 100% in English daily (C1/C2 required) and strong proficiency in Spanish.
• Proficiency in Jira and Google Workspace is required.
• Knowledge of the regulations necessary to work in a highly regulated environment, such as ISO and GMP standards, is required.
• Solid knowledge of Business Intelligence: ETL/Data Warehouse methodologies is required.
• Ability to work with software development methodologies (Agile/Scrum/Lean) and time management skills are required.
• Ability to work in a team and be project-oriented is required.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills are required.
• Availability to travel to visit clients.
• Based in Barcelona -Spain or open to self-funded relocation (must possess valid EU work authorization; no visa sponsorship provided).

Qualifications: Nice to have

• Functional knowledge in industrial applications such as ERP, SCADA, LIMS, or MES.
• Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning algorithms, industry 4.0 concepts and principles and Cloud Platforms and IoT is valued.
• PMP Certification is desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing the right expectations with customers and ensuring company's goals and objectives are met.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on time.
• Developing project scopes and objectives.
• Manage Scrum boards and Jira Roadmaps for project progress.
• Perform Sprint meetings (Planning, Standup, Review, Retrospective).
• Manage the relationship with the clients.
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
• Being proactive and proposing platform improvements.
• Analyze and interpret the needs of the company's customers, building-specific solutions that fit those requirements, using the tools and algorithms provided by the product developed by our company.
• Detecting future business opportunities for sales.
• Work collaboratively with data scientists, quality engineers, usability experts, and clients to improve the Platform and expand the range of standard solutions.
