Leading a team of HR Partners and HR Business Partners, you will partner with Snr Business and Amazon site Leaders, to translate enterprise people strategies into regional execution, strengthen leadership capability, and drive systemic improvements in culture, performance, and risk. You will drive measurable improvements in attrition, attendance, engagement, and leadership effectiveness across multiple sites while building a high-performing, future-ready PXT organization. You will be expected to travel and work onsite at Amazon facilities, ensuring personal connection and hands-on leadership where needed.

Key job responsibilities
PXT Operational Excellence

Ensure PXT teams across your region execute with discipline, consistency, and alignment to Amazon standards. Use inspections and data to identify defects, validate process integrity, and reinforce accountability. Deep dive executive escalations, ethics cases, and workplace incidents to identify root causes and address systemic issues. Surface recurring system gaps to central teams, influencing scalable improvements. Champion PXT tools and systems while reinforcing critical thinking. Establish consistent inspection rhythms to monitor progress and elevate persistent gaps. Maintain visibility across sites, building rapport and identifying concerns before they escalate.

Employee Experience & Culture

Set clear expectations for site and PXT leaders to create workplace environments that drive engagement, performance, and retention. Ensure leaders implement feedback mechanisms including Voice of the Associate boards, roundtables, and GEMBA walks. Oversee employee relations budgets and deliver meaningful recognition programs. Champion safety-first culture through proactive strategies, inspections, and accountability. Partner with leaders to uphold building standards and empower community engagement initiatives coordinated with Public Policy and Public Relations teams.

PXT Leadership

Guide high-judgment decisions impacting people, performance, and culture. Provide oversight on investigations, corrective actions, and employee relations matters, serving as final decision-maker on high-risk decisions including terminations involving potential discrimination, retaliation, for business leaders. Serve as primary escalation point for complex issues, partnering with Regional PXT, Legal, and Employee Relations teams. Anticipate and mitigate employee relations risks by identifying emerging trends and developing proactive strategies. Partner with country-level Governance teams and Works Council representatives to ensure effective consultation processes on site-level matters, maintaining constructive labor relations and compliance with co-determination requirements. Lead regional change initiatives by supporting site leaders through transformation, helping manage ambiguity and reinforce new behaviors. Foster collaboration between site and central PXT teams. Drive adoption of HR technology solutions to enhance efficiency and employee experience.

Partner with Operations leaders to assess organizational health, review succession plans, and identify gaps in leadership capability or bench strength. Hold PXT teams accountable for building leadership capability through coaching and development. Partner with business leaders to identify leadership gaps and drive targeted development. Review talent strategies, identify risks, and align on regional priorities. Ensure site teams evaluate leadership readiness, role criticality, and attrition trends. Identify critical roles with limited bench strength or high retention risk, developing targeted contingency plans. Drive consistent, objective talent evaluations and ensure performance tools are used to drive fair, defensible outcomes.

PXT Leadership & Org Health

Build and sustain a high-performing, future-ready PXT organization. Invest in PXT team growth through coaching, development, and stretch opportunities. Drive succession and promotion decisions by assessing performance, readiness, and potential. Create meaningful opportunities for PXT site leaders to lead regional initiatives and extend their influence. Set the tone for an inclusive, connected, high-trust culture, using data to assess team health. Ensure regional PXT strategy aligns with broader organizational goals while adapting to local needs.
