Celonis is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for Prisma to help build the Modeling library from the ground up. You will work on the graph rendering, layout, and interaction logic that powers process modeling across the platform.

You should be proficient in TypeScript, Angular, and HTML5, have 5+ years of frontend experience, and be comfortable using AI coding tools daily to accelerate development. Hybrid Madrid-based role.

Formación

• 5+ years frontend engineering experience; ownership of complex visualization/graph systems.
• Daily use of AI coding tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) in development.
• Based in or near Madrid; hybrid on-site work arrangement.
• Good written and spoken English.

The Team

Prisma is a newly formed team building the Modeling Library that powers Celonis' Process Modeling Experiences. This library is the foundation for how users create, edit, and visualize process models across the platform. The team works closely with Product, UX, and other engineering teams to turn complex modeling and graph problems into fast, intuitive interactions for our customers.

The Role

As a SeniorSoftware Engineer on Prisma, you'll help build and grow the Modeling library from the ground up. You'll work on the graph rendering, layout, and interaction logic that lets users model business processes clearly and efficiently, even with large and complex data sets.

We're looking for engineers who already use AI coding tools daily and know how to apply them to solve real engineering problems fast, not as a novelty, but as part of how they build production-quality software.

The work you'll do

• Design and build the Modeling library's core components using TypeScript, Angular, and HTML5.
• Solve complex visualization problems such as fast interactions, dynamic graph layouts, and graph interactions, to Celonis' quality bar
• Use AI coding tools daily to speed up development and problem-solving on graph layout, rendering, and interaction challenges
• Collaborate with Product, UX, and other engineering teams to turn modeling requirements into working features
• Write clean, tested code and contribute to the team's technical decisions

Qualifications you need

• Strong hands-on mastery of TypeScript, Angular, and HTML5
• 5+ years of professional frontend engineering experience
  • A track record of owning complex visualization or graph-based systems end-to-end
  • Comfortable driving technical decisions and mentoring other engineers
• Proven ability to solve complex visualization problems (fast interactions, dynamic graph layouts, graph interactions)
• Daily, hands-on use of AI coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) as part of your normal development workflow
• Based in or near Madrid, and available to work on-site part of the week (this is a hybrid role, not fully remote)
• Good written and spoken English

Nice to have

• Experience with a graph layout library, such as yFiles
