Celonis is seeking a Senior Director, Celonis Services EMEA Center of Excellence in Madrid to lead the CoE as the engine of AI-augmented delivery and deep technical, product, and AI expertise across Celonis Services EMEA/JAPAC. Responsabilidades

• Drive the AI-augmented delivery transformation of the CoE, making AI-led delivery the default and improving regional productivity.
• Be accountable for a balanced CoE scoreboard: utilization, delivery productivity, quality and customer satisfaction.
• Define and reinforce the Services CoE strategy, including staffing, roles, structure, enablement and success metrics.
• Develop CoE Domains aligned to business directions and support field teams and customers.
• Oversee the CS Project Office for resource management, capacity planning, PSA, and delivery excellence.
• Manage subcontracting relationships and a pool of Subco talent in the CoE.
• Own the health of the EMEA CoE: engagement, morale, retention, productivity and enablement.
• Lead and develop managers and principal engineers, investing in their career growth.
• Collaborate with other departments (Product, Sales, VE) to promote customer satisfaction and business goals.

As Senior Director, Celonis Services for our EMEA Center of Excellence, you will lead the Madrid CoE as the engine of AI-augmented delivery and the home of deep technical, product, and AI expertise across Celonis Services EMEA/JAPAC. This role is part of the EMEA/JAPAC Services leadership team, reporting to the SVP Services, EMEA/JAPAC.

This is a deliberately broad role: you will lead both the innovation side of the CoE — AI-led delivery, new product rollout, reusable assets — and its delivery operations side — capacity, utilisation, and delivery excellence — through your leaders and managers. Comfort operating across that full range is essential and you will need to demonstrate a combination of strategic long-term thinking and practical operational execution on a daily basis.

You will lead the CoE Managers as well as a group of Principal Deployment Engineers and Deployment Architects, and, through them, a team of thirty+ Deployment Engineers and Deployment Architects that support our business across EMEA/JAPAC.

The CoE is the center of AI-augmented delivery, product innovation, new product rollout, technical domain ownership and supporting business domain knowledge to the field. Partnering with our Bangalore CoE, regional services leaders, and Global Programs, you will run one aligned CoE strategy and scale Madrid as an organization that generates and measures reusable assets and holds our deepest product, platform, and AI expertise.

Responsibilities

• Drive the AI-augmented delivery transformation of the CoE — Apollo/Atlas, agentic delivery, and reusable assets — making AI-led delivery the default and lifting delivery productivity across the region. Collaborate with the Global CCO AI Agentification team for Services in doing so and bring best practices and assets to the regions.
• Be accountable for a balanced CoE scoreboard: utilisation, AI-driven delivery productivity, delivery quality and customer satisfaction, reusable-asset generation, and retention of senior talent.
• Work with services leadership to reinforce the Services CoE strategy, including the services to be delivered from the CoE, employee profiles and roles, hiring plans, organizational structure, enablement approach, career development, and relevant success metrics.
• Develop and grow the CoE Domains aligned to our business directions, empowering the skill and domain knowledge growth across the CoE. Creating the expert team supporting our Field teams and our Customers.
• Oversee the CS Project Office and, through it, resource management, utilisation and capacity planning, PSA, and delivery excellence for the region.
• Maintain Subcontracting relationships and governance as well as overseeing a pool of Subco talent centrally located in the CoE.
• Own the health of the EMEA CoE — engagement, morale, retention, productivity, resource allocation, and enablement — and the outcomes these drive.
• Serve as a day-to-day people manager for a team of managers, and principal Deployment Engineers and Deployment Architects. Invest in their career development and overall employee engagement and contribute to a dynamic Services CoE culture.
• Work with CCO global programs and other CCO wide initiatives for repeatable assets, methodology development leveraging the talent we have in the CoE.
• Work collaboratively with and influence other departments, especially Product, Sales and Value Engineering, to promote customer satisfaction and achieve business unit and company goals.

Skills and Capabilities

• Minimum 12 years of professional experience including relevant leadership and management experience; professional services practice leadership for a SaaS company is preferred
• Deep understanding of Celonis products and platform. Hands‑on knowledge preferred.
• First‑hand experience in a post‑sales role within Celonis.
• Leader of Leaders, demonstrating experience in developing senior talent and managers.
• A top‑per­former with demonstrable past success achieving relevant targets and KPIs.
• Growing experience with AI‑augmented delivery and a track record of adopting new tools and ways of working at scale.
• Experience in process engineering, program management, enablement practices, methodologies, and the corresponding tools/technologies for each.
• Excellent communication, presentation, leadership, management, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills.
• Passion for using operational metrics and process improvement to support decisions and drive organisational optimisation.
• Ability to disseminate team goals, objectives, and metrics to higher level OKRs and track the outcome.
• Ability to adapt to a fast‑moving, ever‑changing, high growth environment and to approach challenges with positivity, creative thinking, and a growth mindset.
