Talent R is partnering with an international technology consultancy to hire a Senior Data Engineer for a leading travel tech platform. You will join a global engineering team handling a data platform that processes billions of events daily and terabytes of data.

In this role you’ll own the full data lifecycle, build scalable distributed systems, and influence architectural decisions from day one. Base salary up to €75K.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience with Python or Scala.
• Proven track record building data pipelines and distributed systems in production.
• Experience with high-volume, highly available systems (streaming and/or batch).
• Strong SQL, with relational and non-relational databases.
• Solid cloud experience, ideally AWS.

• Work across the full data lifecycle: capture, ingestion, processing, enrichment, storage and distribution.
• Build distributed systems that are scalable, resilient and highly available.

We're partnering with an international technology consultancy to hire a Senior Data Engineer for one of the world's leading travel tech platforms. You'll join the team behind a data platform that processes 3.6B+ domain events and ~11.5 TB of data every day, powering products used by millions of travelers worldwide.

The team

• Senior, international engineering team working in English
• Embedded directly in the client's tech organization, with real say in architecture

The role

A hands-on senior seat on a platform where scale is the daily challenge. You'll work across the full data lifecycle (capture, ingestion, processing, enrichment, storage and distribution), building distributed systems that are scalable, resilient and highly available. You'll write clean, tested code, optimize performance, own monitoring and reliability, and document and influence architectural decisions.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of experience with Python or Scala (you don't need both)
• Proven track record building data pipelines and distributed systems in production
• Experience with high-volume, highly available systems (streaming and/or batch)
• Strong SQL, with both relational and non-relational databases
• Solid cloud experience, ideally AWS

Nice to have: Kubernetes, Terraform, Databricks or Flink; experience in travel, e-commerce, fintech or other high-traffic platforms.
