Ticket Merchant is seeking an experienced SQL Developer specialized in data processing, based in Madrid. The role requires strong SQL skills, ETL, and hands-on work with SSIS/SSAS/SSRS to support reporting and data initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of SQL development, database administration experience, and a passion for building scalable data solutions in a fast-growing entertainment company with an international team.

Formación

• More than 3 years in SQL development.
• Experience with database administration and reporting (SSRS).
• Fluent in English; Spanish knowledge beneficial.

SQL Developer specialized in data process with English (based in Madrid)

Do you want to explore new borders in the use of SQL to create powerful functionalities?

A company in expansion within an exciting sector is looking for an experienced SQL developer with capability to provide creative solutions, able to accomplish query optimizations tasks and create developments to support full businesses.

The profile we look for is an experienced SQL developer (more than 3 years in SQL development), with knowledge of database administration and capacity to create and maintain reports from SSRS.

Also, it would be ideal if our future SQL developer has experience working with other teams in order to build a solid product for the business in a scalable way. The ideal person would also be completely fluent in English (even more important that speaking Spanish!), as it is the official language of the company (we have team members all around the world) and would be based in Madrid (we have an office close to Plaza Castilla).

Needed requirement

- Able to write complex queries in MSQL Server

- Able to make query optimization in MSQL Server

- Domain of ETL process in MSQL Server

- Knowledge of SSIS and SSAS

- Experience using SSRS

- Use of project management tools

- Well organized

- Ability to work with teams and on its own

- Very fluent English in both, speaking and writing

- Creative on solution proposals

- Passion for technology

- Knowledge of entertainment market (concerts, sports, festivals…)

- Knowledge of JSON structure

- Knowledge of API management (GET and POST especially)

- Knowledge of other DB languages (Oracle, MongoDB…)

- Knowledge of some front-end developing tools (e.g. Angular)

- Knowledge of other programming languages (.NET, ASP, Java…)

- Specially relevant: knowledge of Python and creation of scrapping processes from public source of information

Other requests

• Work experience on development area is mandatory
• Fluency on English in both, written and spoken, is mandatory, as the team is global and English is the official language.
• High level of Spanish (Mandatory)

What we offer

• Permanent contract if located in Spain / contractor with long term projection if located in a country where the company doesn’t have legal structure.
