JD Logistics is establishing its core QA infrastructure in a greenfield Large Item Distribution Center in Spain. The role leads the development of inspection, auditing, and damage-control frameworks for high-value, bulky e-commerce freight, aligning local processes with global HQ standards.

The successful candidate will drive inbound inspection, inventory accuracy, and compliance, coordinating with operations, IT and quality teams to ensure stock integrity from Day One.

Formación

• Greenfield Launch expertise in establishing QA or inventory assurance in high-volume logistics hubs.
• Lean/Six Sigma knowledge applied to quality control of bulky goods.
• Fluency in English and Spanish required; Mandarin knowledge valued.

Context of the Positio n

As part of our strategic international expansion, JD Logistics is establishing its core infrastructure within the Spanish market. This is a critical greenfield deployment phase, which requires our founding leadership team to manage high operational fluidity, establish local processes from the ground up, and translate centralized global capabilities into localized execution This position is designed for an analytical, process-driven Quality Assurance professional with deep experience in high-volume industrial inventory and damage control. The role requires someone who can build an entire inspection and compliance framework from scratch, specifically tailored for non-standard, bulky, and high-value e-commerce freight.

The Mission: Establish, implement, and lead the comprehensive quality control, inventory auditing, and damage-mitigation framework within our brand-new Large Item Distribution Center, ensuring absolute stock integrity and process compliance from Day On - e. The Scope: You will take full accountability for all QA protocols across the Madrid Large Item DC—covering inbound inspection, standard storage auditing, damage claim verification, and process compliance—while directly aligning local standards with global HQ quality target s.

To provide a clear understanding of the accountability required, the successful candidate will be evaluated on the following key metrics during the initial 6 to 12 mont - hs:

• QA Framework Architecture: Successfully design and deploy localized Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for product inspection, high-value inventory auditing, and cargo damage classification before site operations go li - ve.
• Defect and Damage Reduction: Implement rigorous handling audits and preventative measures to significantly reduce product damage rates during the receiving, picking, and loading phas - es.
• Inventory Accuracy & Cycle Counting: Drive and optimize the facility’s continuous inventory verification and cycle counting programs, ensuring near-perfect stock synchronization between physical assets and the Warehouse Management System (WM - S).
• Compliance & Standards Auditing: Establish an internal continuous audit routine to verify that warehouse teams are executing operations in 100% compliance with both corporate SOPs and local industrial regulatio ns.

Position Requirem - ents

• Greenfield Launch Expertise: You must have a verified background of successfully establishing, launching, or restructuring a quality control or inventory assurance department within a high-volume logistics hub or large-scale retail distribution cen - ter.
• Deep QA/QC Competence: Strong experience with Quality Assurance tools and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies, combined with a proven ability to manage non-standard, heavy, or bulky goods inventor - ies.
• Language Proficiency: Professional fluency in English and Spanish is mandatory to conduct local process audits and deliver clear technical quality performance reports to global HQ. Knowledge of Mandarin is a highly valued corporate as - set.
• Operational Flexibility: High adaptability regarding working hours and floor presence during the initial inventory intake and launch phases of the fulfillment netw ork.
