Think Ahead Academy in Madrid region seeks an enthusiastic bilingual educator to deliver weekly lessons for IGCSE, A-Level, and IB programmes. Classes are small, in-person or hybrid, with a strict maximum of five students per class to tailor instruction and monitor progress.

You will join an international team, participate in meetings, provide feedback, and grow through structured IB, A-Level, and IGCSE training.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Spanish Language, Spanish Literature, or a related field.
• Minimum one year teaching IGCSE, A-Level, or IB curricula; beginners welcome.
• Native-level Spanish and proficient English.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to connect with teenagers.
• Self-motivated and organized in a fast-paced, tech-enabled environment.

What you’ll be doing

• Deliver weekly engaging lessons. Conduct in-person or hybrid classes in Spanish using our cutting-edge methodology.
• Leverage small class sizes to create a supportive learning environment that caters to the individual needs of each student.
• Participate in team meetings and collaborative sessions to share best practices and contribute to the continuous evolution of our teaching approach.
• Offer regular, constructive feedback to both students and academic coordinators, ensuring educational goals are met and exceeded.

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Spanish Language, Spanish Literature, or a related field.
• We are seeking candidates with a minimum of one year of experience teaching IGCSE, A-Level, or IB curricula. However, we also welcome applications from individuals who may not have formal teaching experience but demonstrate a strong passion and commitment to begin a career in tutoring.
• Language proficiency: Native-level Spanish and proficient English.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for education and the ability to connect effortlessly with teenagers.
• A self-motivated and organised professional eager to thrive in a fast-paced, international, and tech-enabled environment.

What we offer

• Attractive rates: Earn between 20€ and 50€ per hour, with clear compensation adjustments based on class type and size.
• Retention and Seniority bonuses: Eligible for bonus pay based on your students retention. Additional bonus scheme based on long term commitment.
• Afternoon-only schedules: All tutoring classes are scheduled between 5:15 pm and 9:15 pm (Monday to Friday), leaving your mornings free for studies, side projects, or personal pursuits.
• Morning options: If you are interested in having a higher involvement, we deliver morning one-on-one classes to private candidates 9:00 am to 14:00 pm.
• Customizable hours: Choose between part-time or full-time options, allowing you to tailor your working hours to your lifestyle and other commitments.
