MET Group in Madrid is seeking an experienced Gas Operations Specialist to support its Spanish in-tank and gas operations. You will ensure the company’s physical gas position in Spain is accurately monitored, balanced and actively managed.

The role involves coordinating nominations, allocations, and capacity bookings, managing swaps with Spanish counterparties, and maintaining regulatory awareness and reporting for the team.

Qualificações

• Minimum of 3 years in gas operations, in-tank management, scheduling, balancing, or related role.
• Strong understanding of the Spanish gas market structure and hub processes.
• Numerically adept with data reconciliation and discrepancy identification.
• Confident communicator able to build relationships with counterparties and stakeholders in the Spanish market.
• Proactive and methodical, able to coordinate several activities in parallel with attention to detail.
• Ability to keep internal stakeholders informed of market, operational and regulatory developments.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and manage Spanish in-tank and hub gas positions, ensuring accurate balances and nominations.
• Coordinate capacity bookings and swaps with Spanish counterparties.
• Provide regular operational updates and maintain documentation for the team.
• Engage with Enagás (TSO) and LNG terminals to support operations and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor regulatory developments and participate in industry meetings and workshops as needed.
• Ensure accurate reporting and timely communication of issues.
