Job summary

At Atolls, an intern Content Editor for the Spanish market in Madrid will craft engaging, accurate content for pages and curated discounts. You will conduct local keyword research, optimise content for SEO, and ensure high-quality writing across retailer landing pages.

The role requires a journalism or media background, fluent Spanish and good English, and the ability to work in a fast-changing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Media, Communication or related field.
• Fluent Spanish (spoken and written) and good English level.
• Excellent writing and editing skills and a deep passion for quality.
• Meticulous eye for detail with flawless spelling, grammar and punctuation in the local language.
• Demonstrated organizational and interpersonal stakeholder skills to work effectively with contributors.
• Ability to work in fast-changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Write the most valuable, attractive and relevant content for our users.
• Conduct thorough topic and keyword research to keep abreast of local market and consumer trends.
• Optimize content based on SEO principles.
• Design and select visual content in accordance to approved content guidelines.
• Responsible for the optimum performance of retailer landing pages.
• Maintaining high quality of content by executing quality assurance checks including but not limited to keyword usage, spelling, grammar, punctuation, style, tracking links etc.
• Having a team mindset, collaborate with Global Content stakeholders to support training, improvement initiatives and process alignment.
• Internship duration 6 months.
