Job summary

Cognizant Spain seeks a Pega Senior Architect/Tech Lead to drive end-to-end BPM/Java/Cloud programs from Spain, coordinating across geographies and stakeholders. You will mentor engineers, lead delivery strategy, and ensure alignment with business goals while leveraging AI/GenAI in BPM.

The role demands strong Java/J2EE expertise, REST/Microservices, and cloud experience, with English as a must. Remote work from Spain is supported, with nationwide collaboration across clients and teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT delivery with strong exposure to BPM / Java / Cloud ecosystems.
• Proven experience delivering end-to-end of large-scale programs or multiple projects.
• Strong Java/J2EE background.
• Strong REST APIs & Microservices background.
• Cloud technologies knowledge (Kubernetes, containers, distributed systems).
• Experience with Agile delivery models (Scrum/Kanban) and full SDLC lifecycle.
• Ability to engage with senior technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience leading global and distributed teams.
• Excellent English communication; Spanish is a plus.

What will be your mission?

As a Pega Senior Architect you will lead end-to-end delivery of BPM/Java/Cloud programs while ensuring alignment between business objectives, technology solutions, and execution excellence.

Responsibilities
