Motorsport Hackers is seeking a leader to centralize and coordinate Valencia site innovation initiatives, aligning with EU/IMG and ATP Innovation Environment. The role will define strategic objectives and deliver tech roadmaps using agile methods.
The candidate will build the Innovation Team, lead PoC/pilot developments, and ensure agility across manufacturing functions while aligning with Ford Europe and Ford Global strategies.
Centralize and coordinate the technological innovation initiatives inside the Valencia Manufactuirng Site.
Ensure alignment and autonomy in technological innovation initiatives through the standardization and definition of common strategic objectives within the Alliance (EU/IMG) and ATP Innovation Environment.
Generate a vision of the future for the Valencia site in terms of emerging technologies aligned with the generation of technological and execution roadmaps using agile methodologies.
Lead the development and research in emerging technologies, through the development of PoC and Pilot projects.
Ensure agility and collaboration with the manufacturing functions in the development and implementation of technological innovation projects.
Align Ford Valencia's innovation strategy with Ford Europe, IMG and Ford Global within ATP
Ensure that the technological transformation is aligned with the required cultural transformation.
The job will include Flexible Manufacturing Automationand Digital Manufacturing, under the supervision of the Spain Innovation Leader.
Flexible Manufacturing Automationwith focus on equipment: Advanced Robotics, Mobile Automatic Guided Vehicles (AGVs), Artificial Vision and 3D Printing.
Digital Manufacturing includes Manufacturing Data Analytics, Manufacturing Digitalization, Connectivity and Cybersecurity.
The position will report to the EU/IMG Innovation Manager and be matrixed to the Valencia Assistant Plant Manager
Coordination:
Lead and coordinate the Valencia Innovation Team, including multiple innovation sections with their coordinators and plant SPOCs.
Generate an ecosystem with other partners to ensure the necessary flow of information
Strategic knowledge of new automation and digitization technologies to develop use cases for plant applications. Provide innovative solutions to the needs of the factory. Improving cost, efficiency, productivity, and flexibility.
Alignment of projects with all involved functions of the factory, promoting customer and value focus.
Prioritize projects in line with business needs and established objectives of the innovation teams
Agility:
Lead, promote and facilitate the transformation towards an AGILE organization.
Performs the Role of the Business Owner within the agile frameworks Scrum and SAFe.
Global alignment and vision of the future:
Represent the Valencia site in relevant forums, both inside and outside Ford.
Coordinate, centralize and prioritize the participation in consortiums of R&D projects together with the department of subsidies.
Support and supervise the development and execution of R&D projects, ensuring their future implementation, replication, and scale ability.
Generate and propose a short and medium-term vision regarding innovation and establish transformation roadmaps and objectives focused on agile value generation.
Be part of the “extended team” of innovation in Europe/IMG
Foster collaboration between plants for the replicability and development of innovation supported by the European innovation team.
Be part of the ATP workgroup, oriented towards the use of new technologies applied to manufacturing in the transformation of electrical products.
