Job summary

Magnum Ice Cream Company is seeking a seasoned Demand Planning Leader to own forecast accuracy and S&OP processes. You will drive cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain to shape demand plans and promotions while balancing service levels and working capital.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in a related field with 5–7 years of experience, strong analytical skills, and fluency in Spanish and English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master’s preferred.
• 5–7 years of experience in demand planning and S&OP.
• Strong analytical skills with ERP and ML tools; experience with Kinaxis or similar planning software.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management; capable of working across functions.
• Acts as a founder/owner and manages end-to-end business processes.
• Proactive in leveraging technology to simplify workflows.
• Fluent in Spanish and English; high collaboration in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• S&OP Leadership: Lead the demand planning component of the S&OP process ensuring alignment across commercial, supply, and finance.
• Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain on promotions, launches, and market trends.
• Performance Monitoring: Track forecast accuracy and bias; implement continuous improvements.
• Service and Inventory Optimization: Balance service levels with working capital and constraints.
• Data & Systems: Use Kinaxis and analytics platforms to drive data-driven decisions.
• Line Management: Lead and develop a team of Demand and Response Planners (4 team members).

What you'll be responsible for

• Forecast Management: Develop and maintain accurate short-, medium-, and long-term demand forecasts using machine learning models / AI driven forecasting tools, market intelligence, and cross‑functional inputs.
• S&OP Leadership: Lead the demand planning component of the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, ensuring alignment across commercial, supply, and finance functions.
• Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to gather insights on promotions, product launches, and market trends. Lead the link to service provider teams for short term service as well as demand planning.
• Performance Monitoring: Track forecast accuracy and bias; implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance forecast reliability.
• Service and Inventory Optimization: Support inventory planning by balancing service levels, working capital, and supply constraints while minimizing business waste.
• Data & Systems: Leverage planning tools (Kinaxis), AI agents, analytics platforms to drive data‑driven decisions.
• Line Management: Lead, coach, motivate, and develop your team of Demand and Response Planners (4 team members)

We're looking for someone who

• Has Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business, Economics, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
• Has minimum of 5-7 years of experience in demand planning and S&OP.
• Has Strong analytical skills with proficiency in ERP (SAP4 HANA), machine learning tools, and demand planning software/s (Kinaxis)
• Has excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Acts as a "founder/ owner" and manages business E2E
• Leverages technology actively simplifies and streamline processes and ways of working
• Able to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• Languages: Spanish and English mandatory
