Open Cosmos in Barcelona is seeking a Thermal Engineer to drive spacecraft thermal design across multiple missions. You will model thermal behaviour, run tests, and support anomaly resolution, collaborating with AOCS, systems and mission teams to ensure spacecraft perform as expected in space.

The role offers a hands-on environment in a fast-growing, mission-driven company with opportunities to influence roadmap and innovation in thermal control and space environment modelling.

Formación

• Strong knowledge of spacecraft thermal control and space thermal environments.
• Experience with thermal modelling tools and analyses.
• Ability to plan and deliver thermal tests end-to-end.
• Understanding of satellite subsystems and cross-disciplinary work.
• Excellent communication with colleagues, partners and customers.

Responsabilidades

• Run the thermal work package for multiple missions.
• Model and analyse spacecraft thermal behaviour.
• Plan and run thermal tests and support anomaly resolution.
• Collaborate with other subsystem engineers and contribute to roadmaps.
