Gramian Consultancy seeks a Space Quality Assurance Engineer to support ECSS-Q based QA across satellite projects. You will ensure conformity of deliverables, lead audits, and manage non-conformances in a structured project environment.

The role requires 5+ years in QA within space/aerospace, fluency in English, onsite collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teams in a multinational setting. Relocation support is available for Friedrichshafen, Germany.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in quality assurance, product assurance, or quality engineering.
• Experience in the space or aerospace industry.
• Practical knowledge of ECSS-Q standards.
• Experience with non-conformance management, corrective actions, deviations, or waivers.
• Experience reviewing technical documentation, test documentation, or quality records.
• Experience supporting project reviews, audits, inspections, or acceptance processes.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Ability to work with technical engineering teams in a structured project environment.

Responsabilidades

• Work with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and project management teams
• Support supplier quality activities and review supplier documentation when needed
• Maintain traceability of quality requirements, evidence, and project documentation
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, templates, and reporting

Role Overview

We are looking for a Space Quality Assurance Engineers with strong knowledge of ECSS-Q standards to support quality and product assurance activities on satellite or spacecraft projects. This role is suited for someone with hands‑on experience in space project QA, technical documentation, process compliance, supplier follow‑up, reviews, audits, and non‑conformance management.

The ideal candidate has worked in the space or aerospace industry and understands how ECSS‑based quality requirements are applied across engineering, manufacturing, testing, and delivery.

CONTRACT: Contractor Agreement

COMMITMENT: Full-time (multi-year)

LOCATIONS: ONSITE Friedrichshafen, Germany; Relocation support

NOTES: EU passport needed; English fluency is required; German is a plus.

• Experience with ECSS‑Q‑ST‑80 for software product assurance
• Previous experience on satellite, spacecraft, payload, or ground segment programs
• Fluency in spoken and written German
