Alén Space is expanding its team with a Space Mission Analysis Engineer. The role focuses on low-level mission analysis, including orbit selection, budgets, and KPI generation using STK and Python tools.

You will verify mission-level requirements and help integrate CONOPS from Systems Engineering. The ideal candidate has a degree in aerospace engineering, 2+ years in space missions, strong Python skills, STK experience, and knowledge of mission analysis methods.

Formación

• Degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field is required.
• At least 2 years of experience in space missions, preferably with small satellites or CubeSats.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Knowledge of orbital mechanics and mission analysis methods.
• Experience in technical budget development (power, ΔV, pointing, etc).
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis and tool development.
• Experience with STK for mission analysis.
• Experience in space radiation analysis.
• Knowledge of Systems Engineering principles.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain technical budgets (power, delta-V, pointing, etc).
• Support verification by analysis of mission-level requirements.
• Contribute to the development and evolution of internal mission analysis tools (Python-based).
• Use STK to perform mission analysis and generate KPIs.
• Document results and contribute to technical reviews (PDR, CDR, etc.).
• Interface with Systems Engineering and other teams to ensure coherence across mission performance budgets.
• Support design iterations through analytical justification of key design decisions.

We´re expanding our team at Alén Space, and are looking for a Space Mission Analysis Engineer; with passion in what you do, talented and experienced; to perform low-level mission analysis, including all related details. You will perform the necessary orbital analyses and technical estimates (power, delta-V, data, pointing) based on the mission objectives, as well as ensure the traceability of requirements. You will also be responsible for implementing the CONOPS defined by the Systems Engineering team in STK.
