Alén Space, Spain, is seeking a Space Mission Analysis Engineer with passion for space to perform low-level mission analysis, develop technical budgets, and ensure requirements traceability. You will use STK to analyze missions, generate KPIs, and support design iterations with analytical justification.

The role requires a degree in Aerospace Engineering, 2+ years in space missions, fluency in English, and experience with Python and STK. Remote work options are available.

Formación

• Degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in space missions, preferably with small satellites or CubeSats.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Knowledge of orbital mechanics and mission analysis methods.
• Experience in technical budget development (power, ΔV, pointing, etc).
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis and tool development.
• Experience with STK for mission analysis.
• Experience in space radiation analysis.
• Knowledge of Systems Engineering principles.

Responsabilidades

• Perform mission analysis tasks for small satellite missions (orbit selection, orbit propagation, coverage, access windows, ΔV requirements, station passes).
• Develop and maintain technical budgets (power, delta-V, pointing, etc).
• Support verification by analysis of mission-level requirements.
• Contribute to the development and evolution of internal mission analysis tools (Python-based).
• Use STK to perform mission analysis and generate KPIs.
• Document results and contribute to technical reviews (PDR, CDR, etc.).
• Interface with Systems Engineering and other teams to ensure coherence across mission performance budgets.
• Support design iterations through analytical justification of key design decisions.
