NTU International in Madrid seeks a highly qualified Non-Key Expert – Space Market, Innovation & Investment Expert. The assignment focuses on market analysis, innovation support, entrepreneurship and investment readiness within African and European space ecosystems, with emphasis on geospatial markets and incubation instruments. Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of French/Portuguese is advantageous.

Formación

• Master’s degree in economics, business administration, engineering, innovation management or related field.
• Excellent command of English.
• Working knowledge of French and/or Portuguese is an asset.

Responsabilidades

• Support activities related to space and geospatial market development, innovation and entrepreneurship, commercialisation, investment readiness and access to finance within African and European space ecosystems.
• Contribute to market analyses, identification of investment opportunities and incubation/acceleration initiatives for space sector stakeholders.
• Assist in knowledge exchange and private sector engagement to strengthen African space ecosystems.

NTU International is preparing a proposal for the project “Support to the Africa-EU Space Partnership Programme – AESPP Boost.”

The programme aims to strengthen cooperation between Africa and the European Union in the space sector, supporting policy dialogue, institutional partnerships, knowledge exchange, innovation, private sector engagement and investment, while contributing to stronger and more sustainable African space ecosystems.

In this context, we are seeking a highly qualified Non-Key Expert – Space Market, Innovation & Investment Expert to support activities related to space and geospatial market development, innovation and entrepreneurship, commercialisation, investment readiness and access to finance within African and European space ecosystems.

Minimum Qualifications and Skills:

• University degree at Master’s level in economics, business administration, engineering, innovation management, or a related field.
• Excellent command of English.
• Working knowledge of French and/or Portuguese will be considered an asset.

Minimum General Professional Experience:

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in market analysis, innovation, entrepreneurship, business development and/or investment advisory in technology sectors.

Minimum Specific Professional Experience:

• At least 4 years of professional experience working on space and geospatial markets, including market studies, innovation instruments, incubation and acceleration, investment readiness, commercialisation and/or access to finance.
• Knowledge of African space markets and investment ecosystems is an asset.
