Sateliot, a Barcelona-based space tech startup, seeks a skilled engineer to bridge hardware and software for satellite payloads. You will design RTL in SystemVerilog/VHDL, implement embedded firmware on the SoC, and configure embedded Linux images.

The role blends FPGA development with software, working closely with hardware teams in a hybrid setup. Required 2–4 years of dual FPGA and firmware experience, strong SystemVerilog/C++, and Linux proficiency.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 2–4 years of professional experience covering both FPGA RTL design and embedded firmware on the same SoC platform.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement digital logic in SystemVerilog or VHDL on the PL side and integrate IP blocks via AXI interfaces.
• Write C/C++ firmware for the SoC processing system, including drivers and control logic.
• Build embedded Linux images (PetaLinux/Yocto), configure kernel, device tree, and drivers.
• Bring up high-speed PL interfaces and validate hardware-software integration.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts in Python/Tcl for builds and testing workflows.
• Troubleshoot hardware in lab and debug signals to ensure payload performance.
