Job summary

GMV is expanding its Flight Segment in the Guidance, Navigation, and Control division, focusing on on-board GNSS and PNT for space systems. You will take technical and project management responsibility across GNSS, PNT, orbit determination, time synchronization, and navigation algorithms.

Join a diverse team collaborating with ESA and other institutions, contributing to system requirements, design, integration, verification, and delivery of advanced space navigation solutions.

Qualifications

• We are looking for professionals from diverse technical and scientific backgrounds with experience in one or more of the following areas: spacecraft navigation, GNSS/PNT, orbit determination, state estimation, or GNC.
• We value professionals who are comfortable working across the project lifecycle, coordinating technical activities, and developing towards technical leadership and project management responsibilities.
• If you are interested in working on the development of space navigation technologies, taking on responsibility for projects and technical teams, and contributing to missions for some of the sector’s leading institutional players, we’d like to meet you.

Responsibilities

• Managing activities and projects within the on-board GNSS section.
• Defining, analyzing, and reviewing system and software requirements.
• Designing, integrating, verifying, and validating navigation and orbit determination functions.
• Coordinating internal teams, subcontractors, consortium partners, and customers.
• Preparing and reviewing technical documentation, plans, reports, and presentations.
• Participating in technical meetings, reviews, and workshops with ESA and other institutional customers.
• Contributing to the development of proposals, the planning of work packages, risk management, and project monitoring.
• Participating in the dissemination of results through conferences and technical publications.
