Job summary

GMV is expanding its Space sector by joining the Galileo Satellite Constellation Control Facility (SCCF) team, developing software operated in the Galileo ground control center. You will contribute to the full software lifecycle, implement cybersecurity improvements, and support maintenance while collaborating with ESA and SCCF operators.

Qualifications

• Graduates in Software Engineering or related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in Java or C++.
• Experience with Maven for dependencies, builds and deployments.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for deployment and scaling.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies including unit and integration testing and TDD.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SCCF software for Galileo ground control center.
• Contribute to full software lifecycle from requirements to deployment.
• Implement cybersecurity enhancements and support maintenance processes.
• Create and maintain engineering documentation (design, interfaces, plans, requirements, notes).
• Interact with ESA and SCCF operators, participating in reviews and milestones.
• Collaborate with team on design, development and deployment.
