GMV Spain is expanding its space-sector teams and seeking a Platform Engineer / DevOps to join the Galileo Project. You will help transform critical infrastructure into a cloud-native, automated platform.

You will deploy and operate Kubernetes-based middleware, automate installation and lifecycle management, and contribute to DevOps, GitOps, monitoring, and security. Hybrid work with relocation support is offered.

• Experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
• Strong Python skills and automation mindset.
• Familiarity with DevOps and GitOps practices.

WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?

We arelooking for a Platform Engineer / DevOps Engineer to join our automation andsoftware team on the Galileo Project, the European satellite constellation forpositioning and navigation. You will be working on one of Europe’s mostambitious space initiatives, helping to transform critical infrastructure intoa service-oriented, automated, cloud-native platform that is equipped to tacklethe challenges of cybersecurity, resilience and the operation of complexsystems. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team responsible for:

• Deploying,configuring and operating middleware services on Kubernetes platforms.
• Automatingthe installation, updating and lifecycle management of platform components.
• Takingpart in defining and implementing DevOps and GitOps practices.
• Integratingmonitoring, observability and security solutions to ensure the services operatecorrectly.
• Collaboratingon incident resolution, problem analysis and the continuous improvement of theplatform.
• Contributingto the design, validation and security of cloud-native infrastructures andapplications.
• You willhave the opportunity to expand and apply your knowledge of: Kubernetes andcloud-native technologies, automation, DevOps and GitOps, observability andplatform monitoring.
