Job summary

Flowserve Corporation in Madrid seeks an experienced Applications Engineer to develop technically and commercially tailored solutions for industrial and special applications.

You will work with sales, development and other specialists to prepare offers, perform cost calculations, evaluate requests and support customers from inquiry to order completion; 5–7 years in a similar role is preferred; SAP and MS Office proficiency is expected.

Qualifications

• BS or BA degree in a relevant field
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in applications engineering or related role
• Experience as Applications Engineer or inside sales
• Strong communication skills and customer-facing experience
• Technician mindset with analytical thinking
• Proficient with SAP and MS Office

Responsibilities

• Support defined clientele in the office
• Evaluate requests and generate solution proposals
• Perform cost calculations with relevant departments
• Prepare technical and commercial offers
• Process orders (Complete Order) and assist in related tasks
