United States Digital Space LLC in Madrid is seeking a Solutions Architect (Portuguese Speaking) to engage Portuguese-speaking clients and translate business needs into scalable data solutions. You will demonstrate the Data & Intelligence Platform and collaborate with account teams to drive adoption and value across complex architectures.

The role requires native Portuguese, strong English, and a willingness to learn Spark.

Formación

• Native proficiency in Portuguese with business fluency in English; Spanish is a plus.
• Willingness to learn a base level of Spark; prior coding in Python/Java/Scala expected.
• Strong background in big data analytics and hands-on with proofs-of-concept and cloud platforms.
• Location in Madrid region for hybrid work; travel up to 50% for customer meetings in Portugal, events and trainings.

Responsabilidades

• Form successful relationships with clients throughout Portugal, providing technical and business value with Account Executives.
• Operate as an expert in big data analytics to champion the Data Intelligence Platform architecture, design and implementation.
• Scale best practices by authoring reference architectures, how-tos, and demos; lead regional workshops and meetups.
• Grow knowledge to become a technical or industry specialist in the field.

The impact you will have:

• Form successful relationships with clients throughout Portugal, providing technical and business value to the company customers in collaboration with Account Executives.
• Operate as an expert in big data analytics to excite customers about the company. You will develop into a ‘champion’ and trusted advisor on multiple issues of architecture, design, and implementation to lead to the successful adoption of the the company Data Intelligence Platform.
• Scale best practices in your field and support customers by authoring reference architectures, how-tos, and demo applications, and help build the the company community in the region by leading workshops, seminars, and meet‑ups.
• Grow your knowledge and expertise to the level of a technical and/or industry specialist.

What we look for:

• Engage customers in technical sales, challenge their questions, guide clear outcomes, and communicate technical and value propositions.
• Develop customer relationships and build internal partnerships with account executives and teams.
• Prior experience with coding in a core programming language (i.e., Python, Java, Scala) and willingness to learn a base level of Spark.
• Proficient with Big Data Analytics technologies, including handson expertise with complex proofs-of-concept and public cloud platform(s).
• Experienced in use case discovery, scoping, and delivering complex solution architecture designs to multiple audiences requiring an ability to context switch in levels of technical depth.

Mandatory requirements:

• Location: Based in the Madrid region (within a commutable distance for a hybrid schedule).
• Travel: Flexibility to travel (up to 50%, primarily for customer meetings in Portugal, events, and trainings).
• Languages: Native proficiency in Portuguesealong with business fluency in English. Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
