European Tech Recruit in Spain is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to shape technical solutions and support pre-sales for industrial automation projects, spanning DCS, PLC, SIS, and SCADA. • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Automation, Electrical or Control Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in industrial automation or OT/IT integration.
• Practical knowledge of DCS, PLC, or SCADA environments.
• Experience with Industry 4.0 or smart-factory deployments.
• Strong presentation, proposal-writing, and stakeholder-management capabilities.
• Fluent Spanish.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.

Responsabilidades

• Design end-to-end industrial control architectures (DCS, PLC, SIS, SCADA).
• Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations tailored to customers.

• Share market feedback with product teams.
• Collaborate with project-execution teams to ensure practicality and deliverability.
• Support projects across Spain and other European markets, travelling when required.

The opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Solutions Architect to shape technical solutions and support pre-sales activity for industrial automation projects.

You will work directly with customers to understand their operational requirements, develop suitable control architectures, and communicate proposed solutions through compelling presentations, demonstrations, and technical documentation. You will also act as a key technical contact throughout the bidding process.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse customer needs and translate them into clear technical specifications and proposals.
• Design end-to-end industrial control architectures incorporating DCS, PLC, SIS, and SCADA technologies.
• Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations tailored to customer requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and clarification throughout bids and commercial discussions.
• Produce system architecture documents, technical manuals, training materials, and other customer deliverables.
• Share market feedback and emerging customer requirements with product teams.
• Collaborate with project-execution teams to confirm that proposed solutions are practical and deliverable.
• Support projects across Spain and other European markets, travelling when required.

What you will bring

• A bachelor's degree or higher in Automation, Electrical or Control Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or a related subject.
• At least three years of experience in industrial automation or OT/IT integration.
• Practical knowledge of DCS, PLC, or SCADA environments.
• Experience connected with Industry 4.0 or smart-factory deployment.
• Strong presentation, proposal-writing, and stakeholder-management capabilities.
• Fluent Spanish required.
• Willingness to travel for national and international projects.

Knowledge of IT infrastructure, artificial intelligence, or SaaS delivery models would be advantageous. Chinese-language skills would also be welcomed but are not essential.
