European Tech Recruit is seeking a Solutions Architect for industrial automation in Spain/Europe. You will lead technical solution design and pre-sales activities for major Industry 4.0 projects, designing end-to-end control architectures including DCS, PLC, SIS, and SCADA systems.

The role requires a strong background in automation, 3+ years in industrial automation or OT/IT integration, and fluency in English and Spanish. Travel nationally and internationally is expected.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Automation, Electrical/Control Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or related technical discipline.
• 3+ years hands-on experience in industrial automation (DCS, PLC, SCADA) or OT/IT integration, with Industry 4.0 focus.
• Fluency in English and Spanish; Chinese advantageous.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.

Responsabilidades

• Identify complex customer requirements and translate them into robust technical specs and proposals.
• Design end-to-end control architectures (DCS, PLC, SIS, SCADA) using advanced automation technologies.
• Lead pre-sales presentations and product demonstrations; act as the technical SME during bidding.
• Create high-quality technical docs, including system architectures, manuals, and training materials.
• Collaborate with global product teams and engineering execution teams to ensure feasibility and delivery.

Solutions Architect – Industrial Automation | DCS / PLC / SIS/ SCADA | Spain

A global leader in industrial automation and process control solutions is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to lead technical solution design and pre-sales support across Spain and the wider European region.

This role offers the opportunity to drive high‑impact pre-sales activities, designing end‑to‑end control architectures for major industrial and Industry 4.0 projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Requirements Analysis: Identify complex customer requirements and translate them into robust technical specifications and detailed engineering proposals.
• Solution Architecture: Design comprehensive end‑to‑end control architectures (incorporating DCS, PLC, SIS, and SCADA systems) utilising cutting‑edge automation technologies.
• Pre‑Sales Support: Lead technical presentations and product demonstrations for key stakeholders. Act as the primary technical subject matter expert during the bidding phase to ensure commercial success.
• Documentation & Deliverables: Create clear, high‑quality technical documentation, including system architectures, technical manuals, and tailored customer training materials.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with global product teams to align with market trends, and coordinate with engineering execution teams to ensure project feasibility and seamless delivery.

Key Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Automation, Electrical/Control Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience: 3+ years of hands‑on experience in industrial automation (DCS, PLC, SCADA) or OT/IT integration, with a strong focus on Industry 4.0 and smart factory deployments.
• Technical Breadth: Knowledge of IT infrastructure, AI integration, and SaaS models is highly desirable.
• Commercial Acumen: Outstanding presentation, proposal‑writing, and stakeholder management skills with proven pre‑sales engagement experience.
• Languages: Fluency in both English and Spanish is essential; proficiency in Chinese is a distinct advantage.
• Mobility: Willingness to travel nationally and internationally as needed to support business development and technical delivery.
