IBM Consulting in Madrid seeks a Solution Architect for Retail Industry Transformation. You will lead solutioning of the Retail and Fulfillment ecosystem, guiding digital transformation for enterprise-scale programs, focusing on application architecture, solution design, and integration across platforms.

You will collaborate with clients to design Core Retail and Fulfillment systems, drive complex data migrations, and contribute to IBM's knowledge base using Domain Driven Design and industry

Formación

• Retail and Fulfillment Expertise: Designing and implementing Retail and Fulfillment solutions, back-end systems, interfaces to GL and reporting tools
• Large-Scale Implementation Experience: Leading mission-critical product implementations into large financial institutions, with complex integrations
• Application Architecture Knowledge: Developing architecture plans, solutions, and designs across platforms
• Industry Reference Models Familiarity: Knowledge of Core to Cloud transformation and industry models
• Domain Driven Design Expertise: Deep DDD expertise applied to solution design
• Fluent in Spanish & English: Bilingual proficiency required

Responsabilidades

Your Role And Responsibilities

As a Solution Architect for Retail Industry Transformation, you will lead the solutioning of Retail and Fulfillment ecosystem, advising clients on digital transformation using agentic approaches. You will design transformation solutions for the entire enterprise, focusing on application architecture, solution, and design. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Design Core Fulfillment Solutions: Design core Fulfillment back-office transformation solutions for settlements, clearances, record management, compliance, accounting, internet retail, mobile retail, and store transformation, ensuring functionality, performance, availability, and scalability.
• Lead Solution Delivery: Lead the delivery of large-scale, mission-critical product implementations into large retail institutions, involving complex system integrations, vendor product implementation, and data migrations.
• Develop Application Architecture: Develop application architecture plans, solutions, and designs that meet operational, security, and non-functional requirements, running on multiple platforms and software packages.
• Collaborate with Clients: Advise clients on Core Retail & Fulfillment systems,
• Drive Intellectual Capital: Participate in the creation, harvesting, protection, and reuse of IBM's intellectual capital in solution design, applying expertise in Domain Driven Design and industry reference models.

Preferred Education

Bachelor's Degree

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• Retail and Fulfillment Expertise: Experience with designing and implementing Retail and Fulfillment solutions, including back-end systems, and interfaces to general ledger systems and reporting tools.
• Large-Scale Implementation Experience: Experience with leading large-scale, mission-critical product implementations into large financial institutions, involving complex system integrations, vendor product implementation, and data migrations.
• Application Architecture Knowledge: Experience with developing application architecture plans, solutions, and designs that meet operational, security, and non-functional requirements, running on multiple platforms and software packages.
• Industry Reference Models Familiarity: Experience with industry reference models , and knowledge of Core to Cloud transformation.
• Domain Driven Design Expertise: Deep expertise in Domain Driven Design, with the ability to apply this expertise in solution design and development.
• Fluent in Spanish & English.

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

• Core to Cloud Transformation: Experience with designing and implementing Core to Cloud transformations
• Multi-Platform Solution Design: Experience with designing solutions that run on multiple platforms and software packages, meeting operational, security, and non-functional requirements.
• Domain Driven Design Application: Deep expertise in applying Domain Driven Design principles to solution design and development, driving functional and scalable architectures.
