Verisure in Madrid seeks Solutions Architects and Enterprise Architects to lead architectural transformations and define end-to-end architectures that align technology with business goals.

You will mediate between Technology and Business teams, designing for availability and scalability across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments. This is a hybrid Madrid-based role with opportunities for growth.

Formación

• 10+ years of IT experience required.

About The Role

We are seeking Solutions Architects and Enterprise Architects to lead key technological transformation projects, defining end-to-end architectures and working closely with both our Technology teams and Business areas. You'll be a key mediator, aligning teams, solutions, and technologies to ensure availability, scalability, and performance.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the discovery and analysis phases of new products, services, and systems.
• Design end-to-end solutions in on-prem, cloud, or hybrid environments.
• Mediate between teams to align architectural decisions.
• Support in selecting key technologies and driving prototypes when needed.
• Contribute to building architecture patterns, reference solutions, architectural principles, technical recommendations, reference architecture, and reference processes among other assets.
• Be involved in technology, roadmap planning, and architecture evangelism.

What You'll Bring

• 10+ years of IT experience.
• Proven prior experience as an Architect (esp., relevant if part of other portfolio-based industries like utilities, telco, insurance, etc.).
• Proven prior experience in end-to-end design of complex architectures.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish with multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with enterprise processes (additional experience around customer journeys will be a plus).
• Experience with cloud architecture (Azure, AWS) and agile methodologies.
• Expertise in APIS, microservices and event-driven architectures.

• Strong communication skills to explain and convince on technical risks and solutions.
• Multitasker, comfortable dealing with multiple initiatives/tasks in parallel.
• A hands-on architect who can dive into technical details when necessary.
• Goal-oriented work approach with autonomy.
• Proactive and collaborative, with the ability to mediate between teams.
• Curious about new technologies and trends.

The role will be based in Madrid
