Job summary

Otto Group one.O in Málaga seeks an experienced Solution Architect to lead cloud-first design and DevOps for a major e-commerce client. You will shape system architecture with the Product Owner, collaborate with German colleagues, and drive requirements engineering across business units.

Key expertise includes microservices, event-driven patterns, API-first design, and security/compliance. Proficiency in Spring Boot, Terraform, Docker, GitLab CI/CD, and AWS is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect.
• Strong knowledge of architectural patterns (microservices, event-driven, API-first) and the Well-Architected Framework.
• Solid experience using Spring Boot for RESTful interfaces and event-driven architecture.
• Solid experience using Terraform, Docker, GitLab CI/CD, AWS and web security.
• Good sense for software quality, testing and engineering processes.
• Good English skills, written and spoken.

What's your story?

• At least 5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect
• Strong knowledge of architectural patterns (microservices, event-driven, API-first) and the Well-Architected Framework
• Solid experience using Spring Boot for building RESTful interfaces and event driven architecture
• Solid experience using Terraform, Docker, GitLab CI/CD, AWS and web security
• Good sense for software quality, testing and engineering processes
• Good English skills, written and spoken
• Excellent team-player in an agile working environment

Nice to have (if applicable):

• Experience in Prometheus, Grafana and NoSQL databases e.g. MongoDB
