Otto Group Solution Provider Spain is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to drive cloud-based business systems for a major e-commerce client, translating business requirements into scalable designs.

You will work in an international setting with German colleagues, applying microservices, API-first patterns, Spring Boot, Terraform, Docker, AWS, and focus on security and quality.

The role offers a hybrid working model in Madrid, a permanent contract, and 23 vacation days.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect.
• Strong knowledge of microservices, event-driven, API-first patterns and the Well-Architected Framework.
• Solid experience with Spring Boot building RESTful interfaces and event-driven architecture.
• Solid experience with Terraform, Docker, GitLab CI/CD, AWS and web security.
• Good software quality, testing and engineering processes.
• Good English skills, written and spoken.
• Excellent team-player in an agile environment.
• Nice to have: Prometheus, Grafana and MongoDB.

Responsabilidades

What will you do?

• You will be involved in the implementation and devops process of cloud based business systems for an important e-commerce customer.
• Development of system design & technical architecture together with Product owner based on business requirements
• You will work in an international environment, together with our German colleagues.
• Requirements engineering together with the Product Owner and the business departments.
• Creating high-level, aswell as detailed architecture models in C4 modelling standards.
• Ensure security and compliance standards.

What's your story?

• At least 5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect
• Strong knowledge of architectural patterns (microservices, event-driven, API-first) and the Well-Architected Framework
• Solid experience using Spring Boot for building RESTful interfaces and event driven architecture
• Solid experience using Terraform, Docker, GitLab CI/CD, AWS and web security
• Good sense for software quality, testing and engineering processes
• Good English skills, written and spoken
• Excellent team-player in an agile working environment

Nice to have (if applicable):

• Experience in Prometheus, Grafana and NoSQL databases e.g. MongoDB
