Job summary

THEKER Robotics in Barcelona seeks a Software Robotics Engineer to design, develop and optimize software for robotic systems, enabling seamless integration of hardware, software and AI. You will work on control systems, automation and real-time navigation.

You’ll collaborate with hardware and mechanical teams, create and test algorithms, and contribute to software architecture. A degree in software or related engineering, passion for robotics, and willingness to relocate to Barcelona are desired.

Your Role

We’re looking for a Software Robotics Engineer to help build the next generation of robotic and automation solutions. You’ll design, develop, and optimize software components for robotic systems, enabling seamless integration of hardware, software, and AI.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Passion for robotics and automation.
• Willingness to work with Deep Learning technologies.
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to reside in or relocate to Barcelona.
• Nice to have: knowledge of Python/C++ or similar, and/or strong academic record with projects (e.g. Formula Student, robotics competitions, personal innovations).

• Technical challenge (take-home).
• Conversation with our technical team.
