Kardex Group is seeking an early-career software project manager to lead client projects in automation and intralogistics. You will manage software projects within Warehouse Execution Systems from initiation to go-live at client sites, coordinating between clients, internal teams and development groups.

The role requires a degree in CS or software engineering, initial PM experience at client sites, and willingness to travel ~10% across Europe (Madrid, Lisbon, Milan or Paris).

Formación

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a comparable technical discipline.
• Initial practical experience in IT or software project management, ideally on projects that have been implemented or rolled out for clients.
• Experience in industrial, automated or logistics environments is an advantage.
• Knowledge of warehouse systems such as WES, WCS or WMS is a plus.
• Experience of working with interdisciplinary and international teams.
• A basic understanding of software development processes and system integrations.
• Analytical thinking and a structured, solution-oriented approach to work.
• High levels of self-motivation, a willingness to learn and a desire to develop both professionally and personally.
• Very good written and spoken German and English.

Responsabilidades

• Lead software projects within the Warehouse Execution Systems (WES) from project initiation through to successful go-live with clients.
• Act as the key point of contact between our clients, internal departments and development teams.
• Analyse client requirements, advise on suitable solutions and translate these requirements into actionable system concepts.
• Ensure that projects are successfully implemented in terms of quality, schedule and customer satisfaction.
• Review, edit and coordinate key project documents such as: Technical specifications, IT specifications, Interface specifications.
• Identify opportunities for optimisation and drive continuous improvement.
• Support the development of standards, best practices and scalable solutions within Kardex.

Your tasks

Working model & travel

Working Arrangements & Travel

• Approx. 10% travel within Europe as part of client projects.
• Residence near one of our German Kardex sites or a willingness to travel accordingly.
