Ambit Iberia seeks a Software Packaging Specialist to manage end-to-end packaging requests, creating MSI, MSIX and Intunewin packages while ensuring quality and traceability. You will deliver deployments across corporate devices and collaborate with IT and business teams.

You will automate processes with PowerShell, Ansible and PSADT, document incidents, monitor SLAs and provide third-level support. 2 days on-site in Barcelona; hybrid setup possible.

Formación

• Must have English level C1 or higher.
• Strong knowledge of scripting (PowerShell, Ansible, PSADT).
• Experience with packaging tools (Orca) and software distribution (MS SCCM, Intune).
• Experience integrating packaging processes is valuable.
• Knowledge of networks, databases (SQL, MongoDB…), APIs.
• Familiarity with Agile, ITIL, or similar methodologies.
• Excellent communication with technical and business teams.

Responsabilidades

• Receive, analyze, and manage packaging requests end-to-end: registration, package creation, testing, delivery, deployment, and post-implementation support.
• Coordinate with IT and business teams to understand needs, define solutions, and prioritize tasks.
• Create, customize, and maintain packages (MSI, MSIX, Intunewin) ensuring compatibility with standards.
• Use packaging tools such as Orca.
• Manage deployment to corporate devices via MS SCCM/Intune.
• Automate service processes using scripting (PowerShell, Ansible, PSADT).
• Document processes, incidents, and solutions; propose improvements to workflow.
• Monitor SLAs and report status of requests and incidents.
• Provide third-level support for packaging and distribution incidents.
• Participate in cross-functional projects and ad-hoc tasks.

You will collaborate with the Application Delivery team, where your main mission will be to manage software packaging requests end-to-end, including creating software packages while ensuring quality, traceability, and internal customer satisfaction.

Tasks

• Receive, analyze, and manage software packaging requests from start to finish: registration, package creation, testing, delivery, deployment, and post-implementation support.
• Coordinate with IT and business teams to understand needs, define optimal solutions, and prioritize tasks.
• Create, customize, and maintain complex software packages (MSI, MSIX, Intunewin, etc.), ensuring compatibility and compliance with corporate standards.
• Use software packaging tools (e.g., Orca).
• Manage software deployment to corporate devices via MS SCCM/Intune.
• Automate service processes using scripting (PowerShell, Ansible, PSADT).
• Document processes, incidents, and solutions, as well as propose continuous improvements in the packaging workflow.
• Monitor SLAs and provide periodic reporting on the status of requests and incidents.
• Provide third-level support for incidents related to software packaging and distribution.
• Participate in cross-functional projects and ad-hoc tasks related to the service.

MUSTs Service Requirements

• English level C1 or higher
• Strong knowledge of scripting (PowerShell, Ansible, PSADT), packaging tools (e.g., Orca), and software distribution (MS SCCM, Intune…).
• Valuable experience in integrating packaging processes.
• Knowledge of networks, databases (SQL, MongoDB…), development, and API management.
• Solid experience in Agile, ITIL, or similar methodologies.
• Communication skills to interact with technical and business teams, and ability to identify and proactively solve problems.
• Internal customer orientation and commitment to continuous improvement.

NICE TO HAVE Service Requirements

• Degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent.

+5 years Experience in advanced software package creation in enterprise environments.

+5 years Experience in end-to-end management of packaging requests, with the ability to coordinate multiple requests simultaneously

Schedule

• 08h-17h from Monday to Friday (flexible)
• 2 days work on site
