Indra Space in Barcelona is seeking a Software Engineer with strong Python development skills and Linux experience to contribute to space-grade networked systems. The role focuses on building software solutions, configuring networks, and working with virtualization tools like Docker in a mission-critical environment.

The ideal candidate has a Computer Engineering or Telecommunications Engineering degree and 2–3 years of Python work, with knowledge of OSPF, Oracle Linux, and English proficiency

We are looking for a Software Engineer with a background in computer science or telecommunications engineering, strong Python development skills, and advanced experience working in Linux environments. The ideal candidate is familiar with networking technologies, routing protocols and virtualization tools, and can support the development, configuration and integration of software systems in complex networked environments.

• Develop and maintain software solutions using Python
• Perform advanced Linux system administration, including network configuration and software package installation
• Configure and troubleshoot IP networks and routing protocols (e.g., OSPF)
• Work with virtualization and container technologies such as Docker
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in networked and mission-critical environments
• Degree in Computer Engineering or Telecommunications Engineering
• AdvancedPython development experience (2–3 years)
• Advanced skills in Oracle Linux and Linux-based environments
• Strong knowledge of IP networking and protocols such as OSPF
• Experience with Software Defined Networking and virtualization (e.g., Docker)
• Functional experience in network routing techniques (1–2 years)
• High level of English
• Experience working in defense or security-related domains
• Knowledge of other routing or network management tools
• Familiarity with complex system integration environments
