Zooplus, headquartered in Munich with offices across Madrid, Krakow, Wroclaw, London and Vienna, is seeking a Full-stack Engineer to join our Pricing-Tool team. You will design technical solutions, develop for our e-commerce platform, and contribute to testing and deployment across the full development cycle.

In a hybrid environment, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, own code quality, and continuously improve our products while adapting to changing business needs and scale.

Formación

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience with JVM-based programming languages.
• Experience in full-stack development of production-ready applications.
• Experience working with relational SQL databases.
• Experience creating and maintaining automated test suites.
• Experience building and maintaining React-based front-ends.
• Willingness to contribute to every software development phase (not just coding).
• Effective communication skills to deal with support requests from users and other teams.
• Strong sense of autonomy and self-organization.
• Good English verbal and written communication skills.

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-stack Engineer with an awareness of the full development cycle: from design to deployment, including testing, to join our Pricing-Tool team. In this team we are responsible for analyzing, designing, and creating business products that allow Zooplus to engage new customers, increase customer retention and save margin in our promotions.

As a Full-stack Engineer, you will:

• work with your team and product owner designing technical solutions for business challenges.
• work in an Agile environment in close collaboration with other teams.
• develop & deliver applications for our e-commerce platform.
• automate test suites to maintain high quality standards.
• operate & patch our production applications.
• support our users with any doubts or issues they might have.
• use state of the art technologies and practices

These are some of the technologies/frameworks/practices we use:

• For backend code: Java (spring).
• For frontend code: React (including Node tooling), Typescript
• We have both Oracle, AWS DocumentDB and Postgres SQL databases.
• We have test suites for backend code in JUnit.
• We manage our infrastructure in AWS with terraform.
• We use k8s, ELK, prometheus, jenkins, ...
