Job summary

Monolithic Power Systems, Inc. in Barcelona is seeking a Software Engineer Intern to contribute to responsive frontend development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js, and Next.js.

You will assist in building reusable components, optimizing displays across devices, and supporting full-stack features and CMS integrations. The role emphasizes collaboration within an Agile team, exposure to eCommerce frameworks like Magento and headless CMS Strapi, and adherence to test-driven development

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Understanding of responsive web design and familiarity with frontend technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with React.js, Next.js, or other modern frontend frameworks is preferred.
• Interest in full-stack software development and system integrations.
• Interest in ecommerce frameworks such as Magento and headless content management systems such as Strapi.
• Familiarity with software design and development in a test-driven environment.
• Knowledge of coding best practices and principles. Exposure to Agile / Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
